Share Options

This spring we are offering three different shares depending on your needs:

Salad Share: A weekly box of 3 salad greens (such as salad mix, head lettuce, spinach, kale) and 3 salad toppings (e.g. carrots, microgreens, salad turnips, mini cucumbers, cherry tomatoes). This share is the perfect choice if you want to have all your salads for the week taken care of automatically. One share will provide enough salad for a family of 4 for 3-6 sides (depending on how much everyone likes salad) or for 3-4 main dishes for a single person (add a protein and/or other toppings for a complete meal) $20/week

Small Box: 6 items of your choice from our online CSA store each week. Examples of items include a clamshell of salad mix, two heads of lettuce, a bunch of carrots (or kale or salad turnips), a clamshell of microgreens, a pound of tomatoes, a bag of cucumbers etc. You can choose exactly what you like, and don't have to get anything you don't want. If you don't select items for a given week, we'll send you a default share of our seasonal produce just like in a traditional CSA. $25/week

Large Box: Works exactly like the small box, but with 10 items each week. $40/week

In addition, for any of the shares above, each week you can purchase additional items from our CSA store, perfect for when you know you'll need more produce for a given week, or want to stock up on your favorites.

What will be in my share?

We are a local farm growing seasonally, so you can except a changing assortment of vegetables to choose from each week. We work hard to grow salad mix and head lettuce year round, even though it can be quite challenging in our climate in the summer. We also try to have popular summer vegetables (especially cucumbers and squash, but also tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant) available early in the season. However, we don't use supplemental heat to grow any of our crops, so we can't do the impossible. There will be no tomatoes in February, but we'll have them in May. To get an idea of the vegetables expected each week, take a look at our planning spreadsheet.

Note that we can't guarantee the availability of a specific item on a specific week in advance, since nothing in farming is that certain.

Payment options

All shares are charged weekly with recurring credit card payments through our Farmigo website. This way, you don't have to prepay, but you do commit to the whole season. Please make sure to read our Terms and Conditions below.

Terms and Conditions

Payments - Each week credit cards are automatically processed two days before the day of delivery. Failed credit card payments will have until the day of delivery to be corrected in order to still receive the weekly share. We reserve the right to cancel membership if failed transactions become excessive.

Delivery holds - If you're going to be away, or don't need your box on a given week for any other reason, you can place a delivery hold on your account for a maximum of 3 weeks per season. You will not get a box and you will not be charged that week.

Refund policy - If you believe you deserve a credit for poor quality, damaged, or otherwise unusable product, please email us. We will evaluate cases individually. Please be sure to include what the problem was, how the produce was stored, and any other relevant details. Please include pictures when possible. We want to share the best quality produce possible, so your feedback helps us improve our systems and catch issues early on.

Cancellation - Growing good food takes time -- we plan our season around our number of CSA members. Because our planting process takes place months before harvest, we charge a cancellation fee of $100 for any members who do not finish out the season. We have made our seasons short (between 12-16 weeks) to keep the commitment manageable.
